Forging Culinary Frontiers: EuroAcademy’s Erasmus+ Partnership with HRC Culinary Academy

We’re thrilled to unveil an innovative partnership that EuroAcademy Consulting NUF has recently entered. It’s not every day that one gets to be a part of a transformative culinary movement that promises to alter the landscape of gastronomy.

Introducing the Project: “Acquiring New Professional Skills for Zero Carbon Footprint in Culinary Arts”

Under the aegis of the ERASMUS+ Programme, Contract № 2023-1-BG01-KA122-VET-000139999, Key Action 1 in the sector of Vocational Education and Training, we’ve proudly partnered with:

Starting on June 1, 2023, and concluding on July 31, 2024, this 14-month project aims to arm participants with crucial knowledge and skills in cooking with a zero-carbon footprint and minimal wastage.

Objectives
  1. Equip participants with knowledge on zero carbon footprint cooking and minimal waste methods that are environmentally benign.
  2. Enhance awareness of sustainable cooking practices.
  3. Refine the expertise of the teaching staff of the Academy in zero carbon footprint cooking.
  4. Adopt and implement novel methods reflecting the contemporary evolution of culinary arts, meeting European standards.
  5. Establish new practical courses in the Academy dedicated to cooking with zero carbon footprint and waste.
Target Audience:

This initiative is designed for 22 trainees and 6 teachers from HRC Academy. The mobility is planned across three countries:

  • Netherlands (14 trainees & 2 teachers)
  • Norway (4 trainees & 2 teachers under the auspices of EuroAcademy Consulting NUF)
  • Italy (4 trainees & 2 teachers)

The mobility period, set to take place between September to November 2023 and March to May 2024, spans three months within the partner organisations.

By realising professional mobility, participants are set to:

  1. Amplify their professional knowledge, skills, and competencies in gastronomy, particularly waste-free cooking.
  2. Receive top-tier professional development via European culinary standards and innovations.
